Bridges & Buildings Levi's
These shoes were meant to demonstrate the extraordinary architecture in the United States. Going from left to right, the shoe includes the UC Davis water tower (the owner of these shoes goes to UC Davis), Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower, Transamerica Pyramid, 345 California Center, Los Angeles skyline, Hollywood sign, Seattle Space Needle, St. Louis Arch, Willis Tower, Hancock Center, Buckingham Fountain, Capitol Building, Washington Monument, Chrysler Building, Brooklyn Bridge, Flatiron Building, Empire State Building, Zakim Bridge, and Statue of Liberty. The American flag on the insides repeat the American theme of these structures. The black and white nature of the shoe is something I have never done before, but it turned out really well. These shoes are subtle enough to wear everyday, yet completely unique. The photos were taken at Buckingham Fountain in Chicago. In some of the shots, you can see the Willis Tower or the Fountain in both the shoe and the background.
